Obituary for Rae Lee Trebing

Rae Lee Trebing, age 87, of Edwardsville, passed away at 1:28 p.m. Friday, November 24, 2017 at Eden Village Care Center. She was born February 4, 1930, the daughter of the late Raymond and Olivia (Schneider) Hoffman.
She married Kenneth Trebing September 4, 1948. He preceded her in death February 2, 2013.
Surviving are four sons: James R. (Melinda) Trebing, Daniel J. (Linda) Trebing, and Kent M. (Gina) Trebing, all of Edwardsville and Randall R. (Nannette) Trebing of Collinsville; a daughter, Kathleen A. (Craig) Wheeler of Glide, Oregon; ten grandchildren: Cameron Hartness, Adam and Sarah Wheeler, Teresa (Michael) McBrien, Kerri (Manuel) Tyler, Sara (Ben) Cardwell, Shana, Gretchen, Noah, and Nadia Trebing; three great-grandchildren: Sophia Hartness, Jaiden Kirk and Owen Trebing; one brother-in-law, James (Marilyn) Trebing of Edwardsville; and one sister-in-law, Lorraine Hoffman of Edwardsville. Besides her husband and parents, Rae Lee was preceded in death by a brother, James Hoffman; and a daughter-in-law, Patricia Trebing.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Edwardsville, immediately followed by the funeral mass at 12:00 p.m.
Memorials may be given to SSM Hospice or to St. Boniface Catholic Church.
