Obituary for Ronald M. Woods

Ronald M. Woods, age 67, of Fairview Heights, IL, died at 5:46 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2016 at his residence. He was born October 10, 1948 in St. Louis, the son of the late Murl and Nell (Hendrix) Woods. He is survived by four children: Ronnie (Michelle) Woods of Fairview Heights, Bonnie (Hubert) Garrett of California, Jack Clubb of Granite City and Tina Woods of Collinsville; 12 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Lavon (Charles) Linhart of Indianapolis, IN; one brother, Danny Woods, also of Indianapolis, IN; and two special cousins: Randy (Christi) Hendrix and David Hendrix. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Donny Woods.

Staff Sergeant Woods retired from the US Army. He was also a member of the American Legion.

He will be buried with military honors at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO, Monday, June 6, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
