Obituary for William L. "Larry" Carney

William L. "Larry" Carney, age 79, of Caseyville, died at 5:10 a.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at Caseyville Nursing and Rehab in Caseyville. He was born February 27, 1937 in East St. Louis, the son of the late Charles and Josephine (Rupieka) Carney. He married Rosalie Malliot. She preceded him in death. He is survived by two children: Kevin (Tori) Carney of Maryville and Karen Carney of Oklahoma; two grandchildren: Kali (Michael) Kennedy and Kassie Bourland; and two great- granddaughters. He is also survived by one sister, Muggs Zlahek. One brother preceded him in death.

Mr. Carney was a member of Painters District Council 58. His remains will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
