Patricia A. "Pat" Carpenter (Ray)
Patricia A. "Pat" Carpenter, age 68, of Fairview Heights, IL, died at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, November 1, 2015 at her residence. She was born April 24, 1947 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of the late William and Mary (Harper) Ray. She married David F. Carpenter May 15, 1969. He survives. Also surviving are four children: David Carpenter, Jr., William Carpenter, Jeremy Carpenter and Michael Carpenter, all of Mascoutah; and one sister-in-law, Judy Carpenter of Belleville.
Pat worked in the childcare center for First Baptist Church in Fairview Heights, where she was a former member. She enjoyed crafts and working with her hands.
According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated.
