Obituary for Jeanette Basarich

Jeanette Basarich
Jeannette Basarich, age 53, of Edwardsville, died at 6:29 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2015 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. She was born January 20, 1962 in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of Marcus and Doris (Carron) LeRoy of Collinsville. Besides her parents, she is survivied by a daughter, Sabrina (Jason) Stahl of Shiloh, IL; three grandchildren: Tyler Stahl, Carter Stahl and Spencer Stahl; one sister, Jeannine (Tom) Mayo of St. Louis; her partner of ten years, Steve Messina of Edwardsville; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one brother, Marcus "Buddy" LeRoy, Jr.

Ms. Basarich was a 1980 graduate of Collinsville High School. According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held.
