Obituary for Virgil Lee Larcom

Virgil Larcom, of Lebanon, died Saturday, April 11, 2015 at his residence. He was born November 2, 1929, the son of Alva and Hannah (Morelang) Larcom. He married Donna Sue "Susan" Cutmyer August 5, 1958. She survives. Also surviving are three children: Patirck (Melissa) Larcom of Shiloh, IL, and Scott Larcom and Kimberly Larcom, both of Lebanon; seven grandchildren: Jill, Christopher, Matthew, Corey, Sara , Brian, and Nick; six great-grandchildren; and one sister, Betty Jo Schwartz of Eureka, KS. Mr. Larcom is also survived by his loving dog, Pete. He was preceded in death by three brothers: Dona Larcom, Ron Larcom and Marvin Larcom.

Mr. Larcom was a member of Operating Engineer's Local 520, through which he worked on the Alaska Pipeline. He was a member of the Masons, Midian Shrine in Wichita, KS and was a veteran of the US Army.
According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated and a private memorial service will be held.
