Obituary for Katherine Loraine Duhamel (Slough)
Katherine Loraine (Slough) Duhamel, age 85, of Highland Springs VA died Mar 11th 2015 at St Elizabeth Hospital in Bellville IL.
She was born, Feb. 11th 1930, in Fairfield, VA to the late Clara and Elmer Slough. She is preceded in death by her Husband George (Skip) Duhamel, and Brother Hansford Slough. She leaves behind Brothers Francis Slough, Jimmy Slough, Henry Slough, Carl Lee Slough, and Sister Barbara Jean (Slough) Sloan. She also leaves behind two sons: Keith Andes (Pamela) of Chesterfield VA, and Kevin Andes (Karen) of St Jacob IL, 5 Grandchildren, and 8 Great Grandchildren. She also wanted all to remember two very special friends Lou Burnett and Jean Norris.
Katherine worked for the City of Richmond VA and also Best Products in Ashland VA. She enjoyed spending time at the beach in Florida with friends, and reflected often on her special Cruise to Alaska.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2015 at Westover Hills United Methodist Church, 1705 Westover Hills Blvd., Richmond, VA.
