Jonathan T. Wylie, age 34, of Belleville, died Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville. He was born November 30, 1980 in Belleville, the son of Blaine and Denise (Dunn) Wylie. Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother, Joseph Dunn Wylie of Belleville; three sisters: Jill (Michael) Sweeny, Rebekah Karter and Elizabeth Wylie, all of Belleville; his maternal grandfather, Charles T. Dunn of Belleville; his paternal grandparents: Arlette and Ralph Franke of Belleville; and many aunts, uncles, cousins; and his nieces and nephews, including Michael Wylie.
Jonathan was a 1999 graduate of Belleville Township High School and was currently a student in the welding program at Southwestern Illinois College. He was baptized at First Christian Church in Belleville on May 3, 1992.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2014 at Kalmer Memorial Services, 8638 E. Hwy 50. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
