Message: I have not seen Beaner for many years, but he remains in my memory as a kind young man. In high school, I always was envious of his ability to grow a mustache. He was a year older, but he never let distinctions get in the way of his relationships. I admired how he could navigate all social groups (jocks, farmers, stoners, etc.) and have close friends in each. Beaner was cool and iconic. I wish I had stayed in touch with him. My sincere condolences to his family. You have lost a shining light.
