Obituary for Raymond Joseph "Joe" LaBenne
Col. Raymond Joseph "Joe" LaBenne, age 71, of O'Fallon, IL, died at 11:18 a.m. Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Relais Bonne Eau Hospice House in Edwardsville. He is survived by his wife, Theresa, nee Johnson, LaBenne; a daughter, Wendy LaBenne; and many dear friends.
Col. LaBenne was retired from the United States Air Force after a 27 year career. He was a member of the Military Officer's Association of America and the Elks Lodge in Kimberling City, MO, where he and his wife enjoyed boating and skiing on Table Rock Lake. According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
