Our friend Nancy...

Our story began quite a few years ago, when this wonderful, fun loving, multi- talented, sports minded lady came to us after a freak accident in the hospital. She probably should have gone to Heaven then, but she was very head strong and decided to get better instead. After a few classes of teaching our residents the art of painting a paper plate, and a few paintings on "ostrich eggs", and being our resident council vice president, and helping people that were in worse shape than her, she recovered and she moved out to be on her own. She said "Don't worry I'll be back again!" And she did come back every now and then to help us and to make us laugh. On March 22, 2011 she again admitted to Twin Oaks. This time she really needed us. She was not getting around so well, breathing had become difficult and life was just harder for her. Immediately she again became the teacher and a special friend and care giver to lots people, worse off than her. We loved her and we thank God that she became a part of our Twin Oaks family.

                                                                                                          We will miss our friend,

The Staff and Residents of Twin Oaks
