Margie A.  (Simpson) Flores (Hahn)
Margie A. Flores, age 72, of Belleville, died at 2:29 p.m. Wednesday, July 2, 2014 at her residence. She was born September 15, 1941 in Kennett, MO, the daughter of the late Charles and Leona (McCray) Hahn. She married Bieford "Ray" Simpson. He preceded her in death March 18, 1990. She later married Israel "Ike" Flores. He survives. Also surviving are two children: Alan (Marcy) Simpson of O'Fallon and Debra (Richard) Bohannon of Red Bud, IL; five grandchildren: Kristy (Ray Schaub) Simpson, Jason Simpson, Matthew (Mandi) Simpson, John Bohannon, and Sara Bohannon; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; seven step-children: Israel Flores, Jr., Sylvia Flores, Rosie Kennedy, David Flores, Margie Canaba, Lisa Gallichio, and Robert Flores; a brother-in law, Charles Taylor of Kennett, MO; and a sister-in-law, Betty Hahn of Royalton, IL. She is also survived by 43 step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; her dear friends Carlene and Clarence Ford; and her wonderful church family. Besides her parents and first husband, she was preceded in death by a grandchild, Jennifer Bohannon; two brothers: Russell Hahn and Dennis Hahn; and two sisters: Shirley Tallay and Mary Taylor.

Mrs. Flores was a realtor and a paramutual clerk at Fairmount Racetrack. She was a very active member of First Baptist Church in Fairview Heights.

Visitation will be from 9-11 a.m. Monday, July 7, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Fairview Heights, with a memorial service immediately following. A luncheon will follow the service.
