Obituary for Roger L. Evans

Roger L. Evans, age 57, of COllinsville, died at 2:19 a.m. Friday, May 2, 2014 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. He was born December 3, 1956 in Glen Carbon, Illinois, the son of the late Marshal and Anna (Cerny) Evans. He married Mary Wojtczuk July 20, 2008. She survives. ALso surviving are two step-children: Denise (Randy) Davis of Collinsville and James J. Frost of Texas; three step-grandchildren: Matthew Davis, Nicole Davis and Brandon Ficken; and two brothers: Jim (Diane) Evans of Granite City and Richard Evans of Bradenton, FL. He is also survived by a niece.

Mr. Evans worked for Sunnyside Nursery in Troy. There will be no services. According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated.
