Mary "JoAnn" Taylor, age 76, of New Baden, died at 6:12 p.m. Monday, October 2, 2017 at Aviston Countryside Manor in Aviston. She was born July 29, 1941 in Lundale, WV, the daughter of the late Bill and Ruth (Jarrel) Morris. She was preceded in death by one brother: Billy Morris. She is survived by her husband of 54 years: Robert A. Taylor; they married in Myrtle Beach, S. Carolina on June 15, 1963. Also surviving are three children: Robert A. Taylor, II, of Las Vegas, NV, Steven G. Taylor of Henderson, NV and Susan L. Taylor of Las Vegas, NV; two grandchildren; and her siblings: Linda Hook of Columbia, South Carolina, Janet Ruszkowski and Tonya Morris of Arlington, VA, Peggy of Jacksonville, FL and Stanley Morris of Accoville, WV.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
