Obituary for Mary Donna Turner (Brush)

Mary Donna Turner, age 83 of Belleville, IL, died at 12:10 a.m. Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at her residence. She was born March 26, 1934 in Marion, IL, the daughter of the late James E. and Myrtle (Clark) Brush. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert L. Turner. She is survived by her children: Kathleen (Jeff) Downen of Belleville, Michael Turner of Belleville, and Randy Turner, of Belleville; her grandchildren: Carolyn (Andy) Douglas of Florida, Justin (Gabby Lux-Turner) of Belleville, Taylor (Vicente) Jacquez of New Mexico, Savanna Turner of Belleville, James Downen of Belleville; one brother: James Brush of Marion, IL; one sister: Betty Estes of Marion, IL; her great grandchildren: Paige, Chase, Gavin, and Elijah Douglas, Kennedy Turner, Elycia, Brooklyn, and Brodie Jacquez.

Mary enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, loved thrift shopping, going to the local coffee shop, and was an amazing cook. She was the glue that held the family together.

According to her wishes her remains will be cremated. A celebration of Mary's life will be held at the Turner Family residence in Belleville, 1:00 p.m. Saturday, September 9, 2017
