Obituary for Margo A. Cook (Wernle)

Margo A. Cook, age 64, of Troy, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at her residence. She was born September 28, 1952 in Highland, the daughter of Laverne (Henke) Wernle of Marine, and the late Leto Wernle. She married Kenneth "Michael" Cook August 27, 1977. He survives.

Besides her husband, she is survived by two children: Christina Marie Cook of Troy and Steven Michael Cook, also of Troy; two grandchildren: Taylor Marie Petri and Jase Joseph Stone; and three sisters: Connie Eckert of Troy, Carla Wernle of Marine and Marsha Angaran of Wisconsin. Besides her father, Margo was preceded in death by two brothers: Terry and Ronnie Wernle.

Margo was a CNA at Eden Village in Glen Carbon.

A memorial service is pending. Memorial contributions may be directed to the family to help offset final expenses. Checks can be made to Teresa Berkman.
