Shirley Muren, age 90 of Shiloh, died Friday, August 25, 2017 at her residence. She was born February 2, 1927 in Belleville, the daughter of the late Bernard and Dorothy (Kocher) Peters. She married Robert Muren. He preceded her in death.

Shirley is survived by three children: Michael Muren of Webster Groves, MO, Douglas (Suzanne) Muren of Belleville and Gregory (Anne) Muren of O'Fallon; seven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one sister, Carol Funk of Georgia.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Peters.
