The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Shelby Dickson can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Shelby M.  Dickson
Shelby Margaret Dickson, age 33, of Matthews, NC, formerly of Lebanon, died Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

She was born January 31, 1984 in Charlotte, NC, the daughter of Herb (Kathy) Dickson of Matthews, NC and Mary S. Dickson of Charlotte, NC. Besides her parents, she is survived by a son, Brock Dickson East; a sister, Amanda (Andrew) Annunziata of Charlotte, NC; two nieces: Amelia and Adalynn; her beloved companion, Pete Ache of Matthews, NC; her aunts and uncles: Ed and Joyce Brockhahn, Linda Spanley, Gary and Norma Spanley, and Lori and Marvin Strozier; as well as many loving cousins.

Shelby graduated from Lebanon High School in 2002. She was an employee for AAA Carolina. She was a member of Post 27 American Legion Ladies Auxiliary and St. Paul United Church of Christ in Lebanon.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Thursday, July 13, 2017 at St. Paul United Church of Christ in Lebanon. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Stone Creek Ranch clubhouse, 5210 Camp Verde In, Charlotte, NC 28277.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to Brock's Education Fund. Checks can be made to Mary Dickson, and mailed to 6714 Orchard Ridge Dr., Charlotte, NC 28227.
