Ann Kolbeck, age 86, of New Baden, died at 6:30 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 at her residence. She was born July 27, 1930 in Pittston, PA, the daughter of the late Leonard and Philomena (Lukasavage) Grabosky. She married Joseph Kolbeck. He preceded her in 1989.
She is survived by three children: Alyce (Ronald) Brown of New Baden, Stephen (Janice) Kolbeck of Dagsboro, DE and Robert (Donna) Kolbeck of W. Pittston, PA; nine grandchildren: Jason Brown, Christopher Brown, Stacey Laur, Stephanie Kolbeck, Stephen Kolbeck, Jr., Chrissy Watkins, Nikita Kolbeck, Klaryssa Kolbeck and Alexis Kolbeck; nine great-grandchildren: Alexander Brown, Audrey Brown, Andrew Brown, Aurora Brown, Juliana Laur, Chelsea Brown, Ryder Haines, David Herron, Jr. and Myranda Burgess; and one brother, Thomas Grabosky of Salisbury, MD.
Besides her parents and husband, Ann was preceded by her brother Leonard, sisters, Alice (Grabosky) Kobal and Dorothy (Grabosky) Neetz, nephews Joseph Neetz and Joseph Kobal, niece Carol Ann Neetz and grandchild, Kimberly (Kolbeck) Burgess.
According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated. Her ashes will be buried in Pennsylvania at a later date.
