Viola Shriner, age 86, of Caseyville, died at 5:30 a.m. Thursday, March 16, 2017 at her residence. She was born September 7, 1930 in Topeka, KS, the daughter of the late James and Dora (Cope) Wederski. She married Earl Shriner. He preceded her in death.

She is survived by her children: Mitchell Jones, Marilyn Jones, Linda Vieyra, Barbara Scott, James Scott, William Scott, Robert Scott and Tammy Cantrell; 26 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren; one brother and one sister. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Nyra Moore; and a grandchild, Jessica Jones.

Viola worked as a waitress. She loved to play bingo at the Collinsville Senior Center. Her remains will be cremated and buried in Higginsville, MO.
