Obituary for Klinten Karl Voss

Klinten Karl Voss, age 47, of Beaver Prairie, passed away on Sunday, February 19, 2017 at his childhood home surrounded by his family, after a lengthy battle with Huntington's disease. He was born June 21, 1969 in Highland, Illinois, the son of Leonard and Elizabeth (Rakers) Voss both of whom survive in Beaver Prairie. Also surviving is his son, Quinten Voss of Highland; his siblings: Steve (Tina) Voss of St. Rose, Karen (Jeff) Christ of Breese, Sharon (Gene) Bickl of Jamestown, Laurie (Kevin) Pollmann of Breese, Michelle (Randy) Buehne of St. Rose, Russell (Angie) Voss of Germantown, Julie (Doug) Beckemeyer of Breese, Matthew (Holle) Voss of Bartelso, Amy (Karl) Abert of Breese, and Chad (Tara) Voss of Carlyle; his nephews and nieces Ryan Voss, Alicia Petermeyer, Whitney Koerkenmeier, Keil, Kolten, and Kane Frey, Kourtney Willich, Krystal Rickhoff, Jade Christ, Sarah Rolfingsmeier, Adam Bickl, Morgan and Connor Pollmann, Jordon, Megan, Olivia, and Drew Buehne, Colbey and Keely Voss, Savahna Scheibe, Aunna, Chloe, Maya and Grant Beckemeyer, Tyler and Brayden Voss, Dalton, Camden, and Reagan Abert, and Chase and Wade Voss; and 17 great nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Frank and Bertha Rakers and Theodore and Clara Voss.

Klinten was a graduate of Mater Dei Catholic High School, and ITT Technical Institute. He worked as a truck driver until he became disabled from the disease. He was a member of St. Felicitas Catholic Church, Beaver Prairie.
Klinten enjoyed spending time with his son, driving around the country side looking at farms, drawing, listening to music, watching pro basketball, and collecting Minneapolis Moline Tractors.

Visitation will be held at St. Felicitas Church from 8:30am-11:00am until the time of service at 11:00am Saturday, February 25, 2017.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his son's education fund (checks can be made out to Matthew Voss), or the donor's choice.
