Yvonne Norris, age 74, of Smithton,. died at 12:49 p.m. Thursday, February 16, 2017 at her residence. She was born May 24, 1942 in Mascoutah, the daughter of the late Wilmer and Florence (Hoernis) Mayer.

She is survived by two children: Michael (girlfriend Deanne Row) Knapp of St. Louis and Shannon (boyfriend Philip Eschman) Norris of Smithton; and her former husband, Art Knapp of O'Fallon, IL. She was preceded in death by a former husband, Charles Norris.

Her remains will be cremated and a private service will be held.
