Obituary for Nancy Fears (Wilson)
Nancy A. Fears, nee Wilson, age 65, of Aviston, IL., born June 21, 1951 in Belleville, IL, passed away Wednesday, December 7, 2016 surrounded by family in her home.
Nancy was raised in Belleville, IL and graduated from Belleville East in 1969. Nancy and her husband, Dennis, were married on July 9, 1969. They resided in O’Fallon, IL with their four children for 13 years before later moving to Aviston, IL. She was in retail management for 25+ years and worked as a part-time cashier at Wal-Mart after retiring.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Eddie & Betty Wilson; sisters, Debbie Steffan & Linda Wuebbels; brothers, Eddie Wilson II & Terry Wilson.
Surviving are her husband, Dennis R. Fears of Aviston, IL; children, Sheri Harter (Jim Williams) of Smithton, IL, Michael (Kristen) Fears of Worden, IL, John (Angie) Fears of Highland, IL, Angie (Cory) Brueggemann of Trenton, IL; twelve grandchildren; one great-grandchild. She was an aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions may be given to HSHS Hospice. The family would like to thank HSHS Hospice for their dignified and compassionate care. Per Nancy’s request, no services will be held.
