Obituary for Jerry D. Casper

Jerry D. Casper, age 68, of Donnellson, Illinois, died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City. He was born August 27, 1947 in Pulaski County, IL, the son of the late Norman and Dee (Dover) Casper. He married Sharon Fiske September 21, 1974. She survives.
Besides his wife, surviving are four children: Theresa Jerman, Jason Casper and Chelsea (fiance Justin Knight), all of Highland, and Trevor (Ashleigh) Casper of St. Jacob; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers: Michael (Nancy) Casper of Paducah, KY and Steve (Nancy) Casper of Highland. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Randy Casper.
Mr. Casper was a Protective Service Officer for Paragon Systems in East St. Louis. He was a veteran of the United States Military and enjoyed gardening and fishing.
His remains will be cremated and no services will be held.
