During her military career Darla was stationed in Germany, Oklahoma and finally Scott AFB, IL. The majority of her career was spent as a Medical Administration Specialist. Darla proudly served her nation for 10 years and considered her service as one of her greatest accomplishments.

After the Air Force, Darla settled her family in Lebanon, IL and worked as a Real Estate Broker in Belleville, IL. Although she valued her professional career she chose to devote the majority of her time caring for her 4 children and developing her artistic abilities.
