Obituary for Maria Raper (Ilic)

Maria Raper, age 73, of East St. Louis, IL, died at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at Belleville Memorial Hospital. She was born July 9, 1943 in Poland, the daughter of Todia and Aneila Ilic.

Mrs. Raper is survived by her husband, Andrew Raper, Sr. of Las Vegas, NV; seven children: Andrew Raper, Jr. of East St. Louis, Debra Raper of Tennessee, Corinthians Raper of Collinsville, Robin Raper of St. Louis, Rickey Raper of East St. Louis, Lillian Raper of Mississippi and Maria Raper of St. Louis; 26 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ricky Raper.

According to her wishes, her remains were cremated. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 6400 St. Clair Ave. East St. Louis, IL
