Obituary for Cletus L. Bugger

Cletus L.  Bugger
Cletus L. Bugger, age 77, of Highland, formerly of St. Jacob, died Monday, May 9, 2016 at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis. He was born May 14, 1938 in Highland, the son of the late Oswin and Lena (Boeser) Bugger. He married Doris Daiber January 10, 1959 in Highland. She survives.

Also surviving are three children: Deborah (Tom) Naegele from Sunman, IN, Diana (Bob) Patterson of Marine, IL, and Lori (Kevin) Rutz of Alhambra, IL; eight grandchildren: Robert (Vickie) Patterson III of Highland IL, Timothy (Dawn) Patterson of Trenton IL, Daniel (Kristy) Patterson of Highland IL, Kenneth Patterson of Marine IL, Andrea Thomas (significant other - Jeff Birlew) of Waukesha WI, Emily (Sterling) Mrazek of Marion IL , Dylan Rutz of Alhambra IL, and Mallory Rutz of Alhambra IL; 11 great-grandchildren; and one niece and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Duane Bugger.

Mr. Bugger was a self-employed contractor. He was a veteran of the US Army, was a volunteer fireman for the St. Jacob Fire Dept. and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland.

Visitation will be from 8-10 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2016 at St. Paul Catholic Church in Highland. A memorial mass will immediately follow the visitation. Burial of his cremated remains will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Highland. Memorial contributions may be given to St. Paul Catholic Church, masses or to the Alzheimer's Association.
