The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Stanley Panek can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for Stanley M. Panek

Stanley M. Panek
Stanley Michael Panek of O'Fallon born September 16, 1940 in Baraki Nowe, Poland passed away May 8, 2016 at home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Antoni and Genowefa Panek.

Surviving are his wife, Sharon and four children : Steve Panek of O'Fallon, Dawn Lance of Belleville, Robert (Karen) Mank of O'Fallon & Melissa Panek of OFallon: six grandchildren: Zach, Micah, Jack, Ryan, Katie & Vonner, and one sister Jane (Danny) Wondolowski and nieces and nephews.

Mr. Panek was a machinist for Continental Can in St. Louis for 25 years. He then worked and retired from Tower Automotive in Granite City.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday May 14th at First Baptist Church in OFallon at 2:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 4:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Project Hope or Animal Rescue of Southern Il. Donations will also be received at church.
