James Robert Addington, age 63, of Mascoutah, died Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville. He was born April 1, 1953 in Dante, VA, the son of Dewey Lee and Lois Virginia (Quesenberry) Addington. His parents preceded him in death. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Alisa Addington; two brothers: Michael David Addington and Emmitte Daniel "Bubby" Mead; and his beloved four legged daughter Shenna.

He is survived by three children: Alisa (Klinton) Bruck of Mascoutah, J. T. (Anna) Addington of LaFollette, TN and David Addington of Jacksboro, TN; two stepdaughters: Jennifer Tucker and Angela Moore; five grandchildren: Brandon and Kelsey Bruck and Landon, Olivia and Bentley Addington; and his brothers and sisters: Rosamae Gibson of Southgate, MI, Janet Christina Sosnowski of Garden City, MI, Donna Johnson of Okemos, MI, William Mead of Soddydaisey, TN, Angel Mansour of Glendale Heights, IL and Michael Whalen of Traverse City, MI; many nieces and nephews He is also survived by his four-legged son, Wrench, who he loved dearly. Jim never met a stranger and was loved by all.

Services: A Memorial celebration will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2016 from 4pm to 7pm at Espenschied Chapel 317 County Road Mascoutah, IL. Floral tributes CANNOT be delivered to the Chapel. Cards or floral tributes may be delivered to: 612 Fallen Timber Ln. Mascoutah, IL 62258
