Obituary for Susan L. Wodtke

Susan L. Wodtke
Susan L. Wodtke, age 79, of Loogootee, IL, died at 6:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at St. Anthony's Hospital in Effingham. She was born January 8, 1937 in Brownstown, IL, the daughter of Clyde and Mildred (Springman) Goldsboro. She married Hebert Wodtke. He survives. Also surviving are three children: Dana Wodtke of Boulder, CO, Nancy (Gerard) Frey of Trenton, IL and Karl (Misty) Wodtke of Loogootee; and three grandchildren: Haley, Levi and Grace Frey. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thurmon Clyde Goldsboro.
Mrs. Wodtke was a homemaker and helped her husband on the farm, and was also employed by the Loogootee Post Office. She was a former member of Zion Lutheran Church in Loogootee and was a current member of the Macedonia Christian Church.
A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, February 27, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church in Loogootee, followed by a funeral luncheon.
