Obituary for Maxine M. Dubs (Harmon)

Maxine Dubs, age 90, of Swansea, formerly of O'Fallon, died at 5:25 p.m. Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Rosewood Care Center in Swansea. She was born May 9, 1925 in Cape Girardeau, MO, the daughter of the late Isaac and Louise Harmon. She married Louis Dubs. He survives. Also surviving are three children: Scott (Linda) Dubs of Romeoville, IL, Steve (Brenda) Dubs of Shiloh and Jill (Curt) Floyd of Shiloh; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by seven brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Dubs was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville, where she also volunteered at Twice Nice, the church resale shop. She also enjoyed making dolls.
A memorial service will be held from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Zion Lutheran Church in Belleville. Her remains will be cremated.
