Raymond G. "George" Fix, Jr., age 65, of Summerfield, died at 2:40 p.m. Monday, July 27, 2015 at Cedar Ridge Healthcare Center in Lebanon. He was born July 16, 1950 in Belleville, the son of the late Raymond G. and Mildred D. (Kueker) Fix, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his siblings: Lyle Edward Fix and Marguerite Billups; an infant nephew,Edward Billups, Jr.; and a great-nephew, Chad Krohn.

Mr. Fix is survived by a daughter, Deanna Pry-Fix of Phoenix, AZ; and his brothers and sisters: Darlene Goodwin of Smithton, IL, Donald Fix of Columbus, OH, Marlin (Sandy) Fix of Aviston, IL, Dennis Fix of O'Fallon, IL, Joe Fix of O'Fallon, IL, Gerald Fix of Lebanon and Cheryl Berry of Lebanon; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

"George" was a veteran of the US Marine Corps, serving in Vietnam. He was also a member of the New Baden VFW, the New Baden American Legion and Laborers Local 670 for many years.

Visitation will be from 8:30-10:30 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2015 at Kalmer Memorial Services, located between Lebanon and O'Fallon on Hwy 50. Burial will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Memorial contributions may be given to the Wounded Warriors Project.
