Edna Johnson, age 85, of Troy, IL, died at 1:05 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2015 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. She was born June 26, 1929 in East St. Louis, IL, the daughter of James and Nellie (Thomas) Irvin. She married Donald M. Johnson. He preceded her in death February 7, 2003. She is survived by three children: Donna Rutz of Troy, Dennis Johnson of Elizabethtown, IL and Paul (Wendy) Johnson of Richland, MO; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four siblings.

Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker and enjoyed doll-making. No services will be held. Memorial contributions in her memory may be given to the American Cancer Society.
