Obituary for Erwin Usselmann


Erwin Usselmann, age 90, of Albers, died Thursday, May 7, 2015. He was born August 3, 1924, the son of Frank and Catherine (Norrenberns) Usselmann. He is survived by two sisters: Rose Kraft of Breese and Frances Wuebbles of Germantown; three brothers: Frank (Rita) Usselmann of Breese, Louis Usselmann of Belleville and Greg (Annamaria) Usselmann of St. Louis; one sister-in-law, Betty Usselmann of Aviston; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Bob Usselmann; three sisters: Alice Book, Rita Macke and Agnes Usselmann; his brothers-in-law: John Kraft, Melvin Wuebbles, Ray Book and Leo Macke; one sister-in-law, Mary Frances Usselmann; and two nieces: Joyce Zurliene and Sandra Kay Usselmann.
Mr. Usselmann worked for Granite City Steel. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown.
Visitation will be from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Germantown. A memorial mass will immediately follow the visitation. Burial of his cremated remains will be in St. Boniface Cemetery in Germantown.
