Obituary for Elizabeth Szabo
Elizabeth Szabo, age 76, of Lebanon, IL, died at 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at her residence. She was born June 10, 1938 in Tuk, Hungary, the daughter of Lajos and Erzsebet (Tibold) Viniczei.
She is survived by her two children: Thomas (Linda) Szabo of Mascoutah and Maryanne (Billy) Vogel of North Babylon, NY; two grandchildren: Nicholas (Elizabeth) Szabo of Korea and Ashley Szabo of Mascoutah; and one great-grandchild, Tristan Szabo.
Ms. Szabo was a registered nurse who worked primarily in Bradenton, FL.
Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lebanon. A funeral service will immediately follow the visitation. After the services family and friends are welcome to gather for a life celebration at Liz's home less than a block away from the church. After the funeral service, her remains will be cremated. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Diabetes Association or to the American Cancer Society.
