Obituary for Ronald Koch
Ronald Koch, age 78, of Belleville, died at 2:45 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at his residence. He was born April 11, 1936 in Belleville, IL, the son of the late Walter and Evelyn (Fink) Koch. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Judith (Winter) Koch, whom he married October 21, 1961 and died January 18, 2009.
He is survived by three children: Elizabeth "Beth" (Steve) Clifton of Belleville, Jan (Scott) Kocurek of Belleville and Vickie (Scott) Shultz of Smithton; four grandchldren: Ronald Juenger, Lauren Clifton, Amanda Kocurek and Maggie Shultz. He is also survived by a dear cousin, Sue Borrenpohl.
Mr. Koch was an accountant. He was a member of the Belleville Area Democratic Committee, and enjoyed Nascar, and his dogs and cats.
According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated and burial of his ashes will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to the Belleville Area Humane Society in honor of his love for dogs.
