Obituary for Anne "Annie" Keefe Hansen

Anne (Annie) Marie Hansen nee Keefe

Annie was born on July 10, 1948 and passed away at the age of 66 on January 26, 2015 surrounded by her family. Annie was born and raised in on the south side of Chicago. She was the youngest of 11 children. Annie attended Holy Cross Grammar School, Aquines Dominican High School and Bowen High School. Annie is the daughter of James and Francis Keefe and the proud mother of Maura (David) Workman and the extremely proud grandmother of Sean, Sierra and Andrew Workman. Annie is the loving sister of James Keefe, John O’Keefe, Patricia (Gail) Serig, Margaret (Don) St. Clair, Frances (Richard) Doll, Jerome (Angie) O’Keefe, Phillip (Mary) Keefe, Vincent (Kathleen) Keefe, Stephen Keefe, and Mary (John) Kelly. She had 20 nieces and nephews. Annie recently lived in Lutz Florida. She was cremated and a celebration of Annie’s life will be held this summer in the Chicago area. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Salvation Army, an organization for which she volunteered. The family would love to hear any stories you would like to share about Annie and her life.
