Obituary for Leslie A. Blow (Allen)

Leslie A.  Blow (Allen)
Leslie Ann Blow, age 47, of Collinsville, went to her home in Heaven at 2:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville. She was born June 3, 1967 in Granite City, Illinois, the daughter of the late Armel Clacy Allen, Jr. and Carol J. (Taff) Allen. She married David Blow August 30, 1991. He survives. Also surviving are three children: David M. Blow, Samantha J. Blow and Grace C. Blow, all of Collinsville; two sisters: Laura (Daren) Carstens of Collinsville and Lisa (Steven) Crabb of Maryville; and two brothers: Shannon S. Allen of Washington and Shawn A. Allen of Boonesville, MO.
Leslie worked for as a pharmacy tech and for a short time as a preschool teacher at Enjoy Church.
She was a member of Enjoy church for thirty years, faithfully served in the children’s ministry and volunteered where ever she was needed. Leslie took the message of God’s love to everyone she met. She was a devoted wife, an incredible mother to her three children and never missed an opportunity to reach out to anyone who needed help, whether neighbor, friend, or stranger. Her love for people was contagious and her sense of humor will be missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her.

There will be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 6:00 pm, Friday at Enjoy Church, 3303 Homer Adams Parkway in Alton, IL. Rev. Daren Carstens will officiate.
