Obituary for Jerrel C. Garner

Jerrel C. Garner
Jerrel C. Garner, age 70, of Carlyle, died at 5:31 p.m. Sunday, November 9, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 30, 1944 in Breese, the son of the late Jerrel and Carrie (Turner) Garner. He married Pamela Tittle. She survives. Also surviving are three children: Christina Garner (special friend Jackie Buhl) of Beckemeyer, Margo (Chris) Kampwerth of Carlyle, and Joshua (Cara) Garner of Odin, IL; four grandchildren: Danny and Jared Kampwerth and Christine and Easton Garner; three stepchildren: Rita (Ron) Dean of Cookville, TN, Cori Gonser of New Baden, IL and Dana (Jake) Hinterser of Highland, IL; nine step-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters: Carolyn Wuebbles of Carlyle, Linda Garner of Carlyle, Stanley Garner of Beckemeyer, John (Carolee) Brink of Texas and Mark Brink of Champaign, IL; and his former wife, Joyce (Maravich) Garner of Beckemeyer.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his former wife, Betty (Richardson) Garner and a brother, Michael Garner.
Mr. Garner was a member of and an Elder with Kingdom Hall - Jehovah's Witness in Carlyle. He worked for N.G. Gilbert Tree Trimming Service for 20 years and was the owner of Paradise Janitorial from 1990 - present.

A memorial service in his memory will be held at a later date.
