August B. Fehrmann of Breese IL passed away at 7:04 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2014 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Breese, IL. He was born on May 1, 1938, in Bartelso IL to August and Irene (Hilmes) Fehrmann. Auggie retired from Scott AFB in 2001. He is survived by his wife Grace A. Fehrmann of Breese IL whom he married November 27, 1990. Surviving are his children: Kevin (Karen) Fehrmann of Camdenton, MO, Veronica (Dennis) Rittenhouse of Highland, Keith (Tracy Timmermann) Fehrmann of Breese; Kent (Gerry) Fehrmann of Breese, Kerry (Peggy) Fehrmann of Albers and Vonda (Greg) Fugate of Highland IL; His grandchildren: Chelsie (Colin) Fischer of Edwardsville, Kylre (Jamie Winkler ) Fehrmann; Breese, Olivia Fehrmann, Henderson NV, Justin (Tiffany) Rittenhouse; Twyla (Torre) Rutz, Shaina Rittenhouse, Austin Ritternhouse, all of Highland IL., Brandon (Stephanie) Fehrmann, Dakota & Karson Fehrmann; Kendra, Bryant, Dillon & Jean Luc Fehrmann; of Breese, Allyson Fehrmann of Albers and Emmerson Fugate of Highland IL; His greatgrandchildren: Claire & Charlotte Rittenhouse, Rowan & Arlyn Fischer, Reagan & Harper and Aurora Fehrmann. Preceding him in his death are brothers and sisters: Paul Fehrmann, Rita Dressel, Cletus Fehrmann, Marty Wellinghoff and Irene Huelsmann.
Also surviving are his stepchildren: Cynthia (William) Heimann; Curtis Kreiter, Cary Kreiter, Carmen (David) Daab, Claudia Terry, and Cliff (Donna) Kreiter. His step-grandchildren Daran Daab (friend Julie Moriarty), Clinton (Carrie) Heimann, Kelsie (Ryan) Rhodes, Danielle Heimann, Marissa (James) Marquardson, Bryan (Elizabeth) Daab, Alex Finch, & Alison Finch (friend Charles Lemp). Step-grandchildren: Tom Shubert and Tonya (Jimmy) Hearty, Ronald Hicks, Mike Hicks and Heather, and their children. He has 7 step greatgrandchildren: Ethan & Emmet Daab, Cambry and Ellia Marquardson, Marie Lemp ,Tesslyn Rhodes and Eli Heimann.
He is also survived by two brothers: Anthony (Cheryl) Fehrmann, Thom Fehrmann; his sisters: Betsy (Joe) Hempen, Frances (Francis) Peters, Cleo (Jack) Wilken and Theda (Severin Wellinghoff) Fehrmann; Brothers and sisters-in-law Willene Fehrmann, Andrew Huelsmann, Pat Fehrmann, Paul Wellinghoff, Daniel & Darlene Billhartz, Darleen & Harry Nelson, Francis & Helen Billhartz, Gerrie & Ron Busam, and Sue & Virgil Tebbe ; and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters: Paul Fehrmann and Cletus Fehrmann, Rita Dressel, Marty Wellinghoff and Irene Huelsmann. Per his request his body will be creamated. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Mass will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, October 31, 2014 at St. Dominics Church in Breese. Memorials made be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
