Obituary for Patrick Cristel

Patrick Cristel, age 78, of Trenton, died at 9:25 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at his daughter's residence. He was born December 20, 1935. He married Vivian J. "Jean" Craine December 17, 1955 in East St. Louis. She preceded him in death March 24, 2013. He is survived by three children: Sherry (Ron) Deien of Germantown, Terry Cristel of Trenton and Steve Cristel of Phoenix, AZ; seven grandchildren: Steven, Cody, Jeremy, Joey, Brook, Ronnie (Holly) and Brian (Jessica); and four great-grandchildren: Trista, Haley, Faith and Gavin. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Cristel; and three brothers: Bernard, Chas and Albert Cristel.

Mr. Cristel was a laborer working in road construction. After his retirement, he enjoyed buying and selling cattle, playing bingo and going to Fairmount Racetrack.

According to his wishes, his remains will be cremated and no services will be held.
