Carroll E. Hamilton, age 88, of Carbondale, died at 1:50 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Helia Healthcare in Carbondale. She was born June 28, 1926 in Champaign, IL, the daughter of the late Charles Marvin and Ruby (Lambert) Hamilton. She is survived by a brother, Marvin "Mike" Hamilton of Carbondale and Sue E. Lee of Nashville, TN.
