Obituary for Marc A. Dontigney Sr.
Marc Dontigney, age 48, of Swansea, IL died Saturday, September 20, 2014. He was born August 18, 1966 in Belleville, the son of the late John and Mary (Monroe) Dontigney. He married Sheri Ralston May 31, 1997. She survives. Also surviving are three sons: Dustin (friend Chrissy) Dontigney of New Athens, IL, Brad (friend Ginni) Dontigney of New Baden, IL and Marc (friend Lydia) of Swansea; nine grandchildren: Austin, Leah, Hannah, Zoe, Brayden, Jaxon, Mason, Paisley and Henderson; two brothers: Paul (Karen) Dontigney of Lebanon and John (Chris) Dontigney of Green Bay, WI; and many nieces and nephews.
Marc was a laborer. He was a US Navy veteran and enjoyed collecting and scrapping metal.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Kalmer Memorial Services. Funeral services will begin immediately following the visitation. Following the funeral, his remains will be cremated. Donations may be given to the family.
