Charlotte M. Duffie, age 64, of Tilden, died Sunday, September 7, 2014 at her residence. She was born April 6, 1950 in Weingarden, MO, the daughter of the late Russell and Lois (Hart) Kempfer. She married James Duffie December 31, 1978. He survives. Also surviving are two children: Charles "Joey" (Rhiannon) Williams of Tilden and Charleen (Robert) Smith of Steelville, IL; 14 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and 12 brothers and sisters. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Ed Hart.

Mrs. Duffie worked in home health services as a CNA and a senior companion. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Private graveside services were held.
