Obituary for Amanda L. Primas (Watson)

Amanda L. Primas, age 35, of Cottage Hills, died at 8:40 a.m. Monday, August 25, 2014 at Alton Memorial Hospital. She was born December 12, 1978, the daughter of Carla (Beach) Watson of Brighton, and the late Steven Watson. Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Stephen Primas, whom she married October 31, 2012; one son, David “Duncan” Bradshaw of Cottage Hills; one brother, Jay Watson of Brighton; one sister, Carrie (Andrew) Baker of Brighton; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Larry and Janice Primas of Maryville; one brother-in-law, Scott (Lisa) Primas of Edwardsville; and two sisters-in-law, Cheryl (Don) Martin of Granite City and Dawn (Ron) Martin of Edwardsville.
Mrs. Primas worked for Southwestern School District as a bus driver and also worked in the fragrance department at Macy’s in Fairview Heights.
Visitation for family and friends only will be held from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, August 28, 2014 at Brighton Christian Church in Brighton, with a funeral service immediately following. After the funeral service, her remains will be cremated.
