Obituary for John S. Matuz
John S. Matuz, age 67, of Holiday Shores, IL, died at 12:15 p.m. Friday, August 1, 2014 at his residence. He was born February 14, 1947 in Chicago, the son of Frank and Emily (Bleskin) Matuz. He married Susan Dvojicka March 22, 1968. She survives. Also surviving are two daughters: Sami (Mark) Allen of LaPorte, IN and Anne (friend Gary) Matuz of Portage, IN, one grandchild, Halie Marie Allen; one brother, David (Anna) Matuz of Justus, IL; and two sisters: Rochelle (Eugene) Okonski of Oak Lawn, IL and Rosemary Matuz of Justus, IL. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Francis "Butch" Matuz and Pauline Seehoffer.
Mr. Matuz worked for Continental Can Co. and was a US Army veteran. A memorial service is pending.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Madison County Humane Society.
