Obituary for William G. "Gregg" Goodman

William "Gregg" Goodman, age 63, of Swansea, died Tuesday, July 22, 2014 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Belleville. He was born July 11, 1951 in Carbondale, IL, the son of Patricia (Bragg) Goodman, of Carbondale, and the late Bill Goodman. Besides his mother, he is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Robert) Woolridge of Carbondale; a son, Erik Brown of Collinsville; a grandchild, Holden Woolridge; two sisters: Lynne (Paul) Harren of Marietta, GA and Laura (Janis) Goodman of Fort Myers, FL; and a brother, Jeff (Phyllis) Goodman of Loveland, OH.

Mr. Goodman was an officer with the Bank of Springfield. He was a graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, where he played football and received a degree in Economics.

A memorial service for Mr. Goodman will be announced at a later date.
