Obituary for Richard George Breza
Richard George Breza, age 74, of Sullivan, IL, formerly of Mt. Olive, IL, died at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 25, 2014 at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, IL. He was born April 3, 1940 in Litchfield, IL, the son of the late Michael A. and Marie Teresa (Thomas) Breza. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents: Mike and Ann (Banovic) Breza and John and Anna (Fischer) Thomas.
He is survived by a brother, Michael J. Breza and his spouse, Ann Marie; his nephews: Michael J. Breza, II and Mark P. Breza; his grand nephews: Miguel and Zander; and his grand nieces: Felix and Frida.
Richard attended Holy Trinity Grade School and Mt. Olive Community High School, class of 1958. He enjoyed listening to old vinyl records, reminiscing of growing up in Mt. Olive, especially about the freedom of times spent outdoors. He was a kind and friendly person despite his troubled life.
Services will be private. Donations may be made to the Spiritual Care Services at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, IL.
