Beverly M. Frederickson, age 84, of Jerseyville, formerly of Elgin, died at 8:10 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Liberty Village in Jerseyville. She was born October 7, 1929 in Elgin, IL, the daughter of the late Bernard and Elizabeth (Friebus) Sponholtz. She married Roger Frederickson on November 4, 1950. He survives.

Also surviving are children Penny (Frederickson) Coester of Alton, Robin (Frederickson) Adler of Jerseyville, and Scott Frederickson and his wife Deborah of Elgin. They were also blessed with six grandchildren, Sarah, Alex, Michael, Amanda, Robert and Jonathan.

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Nancy (Frederickson) Reuter, wife of Larry Reuter.

She was an avid quilter and Candlewick collector. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

According to her wishes, her remains will be cremated. Interment of her ashes will be at 10:00 a.m. June 28, 2014 at Bluff City Cemetery in Elgin, IL.
