Julie Mason (Luciano)
Julie Mason, age 79, died at 11:15 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Cedarhurst Manor in Shiloh. She was born April 17, 1935 in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of the late Julio and Rose (DiAngelo) Luciano. She married Jack Mason in 1972. He preceded her in death. She is survived by six children: Lisa (Ed) Barbour of Mascoutah, Sharon (Doug) Proffitt of Aldie, VA, Dominic Coluzzi of Frederick, MD, Sharon (Mary) Lee of Frederick, MD, Michael (Marti) Mason of Westminster, MD and Cathy (Troy) Linton of Frederick, MD; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and two sisters: Rita Bailey of Port Charlotte, FL and Shirley Sharpe of Virginia. Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one sister and four brothers.

Mrs. Mason worked as an executive assistant for the Securities and Exchange Commission and also for the Department of Energy.

A memorial service will be held at Cedarhurst Manor in Shiloh at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to Heartland Hospice.
